Hedgegrove is proud to be working in conjunction with the professional team from Canine Connect to bring you and your dog a wide option of behaviour and training services. Their team are on-site and there to assist the Hedgegrove team should they need it.
All trainers are nationally recognised and qualified through the National Dog Trainers Federation and have a large amount of experience in a variety of canine training and behaviour sectors. Offering a range of services, Canine Connect has everything for your training and behaviour needs including their popular ‘Board & Train’ service and ‘Canine Carnivale’ classes.

Board & Train
Board & train is an option for those who want to put their dog’s development, obedience and confidence in the express lane under the care of our qualified trainers.
Your dog will be staying at the amazing Hedgegrove Boarding Kennels or Windamere Boarding Kennels and will receive several training sessions per day. The dog’s behaviour and progression is assessed daily and training adjusted to suit.
Designed for dogs of varying age, breed and temperament, whether it be for basic training of obedience, specialty skills, assistance work or rehabilitation for mild to severe behaviour issues. Board & Train is not designed to “fix” behavioural issues but to begin the process under our professional guidance.

Doggy Day School
‘Doggy Day School’ options are coming to both Hedgegrove & Windamere Kennels in 2019.
This option is great for those who have dogs needing extra enrichment, stimulation, exercise and training while their handlers are busy working or otherwise occupied.
Maybe your dog is not suited to a ‘Daycare Environment’, maybe your dog is struggling with a behavioural issue or maybe your dog requires a structured day or learning under the guidance of our qualified and experienced team!
So how does it work?
Easy! Either drop off your dog at our facilities or organise for them to be collected in the morning and then collect them or organise for delivery in the afternoon.
Just like a real school!
Each student receives a report card at the end of the school day and special requests for what you would like the trainers to focus on are welcome. Students receives 3 one on one training session through the day alongside other behavioural and training activities.

Group Classes
2019 will see the introduction to our brand spanking new weekly Obedience, Confidence & Conditioning Classes, CC Difficult Dogs Class & some of our old favourites coming to Windamere Kennels & Cattery!
Obedience, Confidence & Conditioning!
Suitable for all dog ages and skill level these classes will give those wanting to attend more frequent and long term group classes under the guidance of our trainers.
These classes will cover a broad range of areas to keep those minds busy and always achieving new goals.

Private Training
Canine Connect are leaders in behaviour modification programs and understand that not all dogs or behaviours are suitable for a group class environment.
The CC Team offer Private Training for those dogs and handlers who need a little more one on one time with professional guidance.
Whether it be for behavioural issues, brushing up on old skills, wanting to try something new or just wanting some one on one time, Private Training appointments are a great option.
To date, CC has 5 trainers under our umbrella and counting, which means we can offer several appointment times weekly, including weekends to suit all needs.
